Matthew's Dresser
I finally finished Matthew's Dresser. I've been almost finished for about three months. We put colored knob on the dresser for now. Once he's a few years old, we'll replace them with nicer knobs.

Another view from the left side. The entire exterior is cherry. The drawer sides and back are maple.

Detail of Leg
This is a closeup of the leg showing chamfer detail on the top edges of the legs and bottom rails. The rails are joined to the legs with mortise and tenon joinery.

This shows the arch detail of the front and side rails. The rails have chamfer details on the top and bottom edges.

Bottom of Drawer
The drawers all have dovetailed hardwood drawer slides.

This shot shows the other half of the drawer slide and the dust frames between rows.

The drawer fronts and backs are joined to the sides with half blind dovetails. The drawer fronts also have a cove detail to increase side clearance.
