Neil Armstrong
Neil Armstrong spoke on friday night. He gave a presentation on Wilbur and Orville Wright that he will be giving again on December 17, 2003 at Kitty Hawk on the 100th anniversary powered of flight.

One of the great things about Oshkosh are all the forums where you can learn about things like riveting, fiberglass layups, weldings, etc.

The Segway Experience had a booth where you could pay $10 and ride a Segway for 10 minutes. These things are a blast!

EAA's B-17, Aluminum Overcast
This is a beautifully restored B-17 that EAA flys to airshows all over the country.



Allison Engine
This engine was used in many WWII fighters such as the P-38, P-40, etc. It produces 1600hp continuous and 3000hp for takeoff. We heard it run for a couple of minutes at 3000hp. They said they burned about 15 gallons of gas in about 2 minutes!
