Allison Engine This engine was used in many WWII fighters such as the P-38, P-40, etc. It produces 1600hp continuous and 3000hp for takeoff. We heard it run for a couple of minutes at 3000hp. They said they burned about 15 gallons of gas in about 2 minutes! |
